2011 Diners Club Magazin Awards ceremony

On 15th November 2011, the eighth “Diners Club Magazin Awards” ceremony took place during a gala at the GOP Varieté-Theater in Munich. Diners Club Magazin publisher Gerd Giesler and editor Dr. Hans Christian Meiser introduced the eight winners voted for by readers and the three chosen by an expert panel of judges and presented them with the coveted gold awards, as well as announcing the silver winners. The “Diners Club Magazin Award Winner” accolade has now become a much coveted seal of approval and mark of quality. Among those celebrating with the 250 invited guests were Reinhold Messner, Prinz Karl von Thurn und Taxis and star chefs Thomas Bühner and Heinz Winkler.

The pioneer and style icon Kaldewei won the 2011 gold Diners Club Magazin Award in the “Most innovative product design for living” category for their BASSINO floating bathtub. The eulogy highlighted Kaldewei’s habit of creating new benchmarks for design, value and quality with an inimitable and classic elegance.
